Bass are looking up
Hit the neighborhood ponds after work on Tuesday hoping for a topwater bite. Sure enough, both the bass and the bream were pretty aggressive, smacking my #4 BoogleBug around. Those BoogleBugs have to be the best poppers around. I caught around fifteen bass on Tuesday and that thing still looks brand new.

Nice looking bass. I’ve been sneaking out after work this week too. I’ve caught a few on top. The water hasn’t been as clear as usual. Where are you fishing this weekend?

Tomorrow I’ll be fishing the Redfish for Research get together on Bayou St. John, then Massey’s will host a demo day out there as well. Hopefully rain doesn’t ruin the day and I’m able to catch a rare BSJ red, or maybe just a few largemouth bass. I could use them for the CPR tourney.
