How to properly fit a PFD

Something worth thinking about for all the kayak fishers out there – make sure that the PFD you’re wearing is fitted properly. I generally wear inflatables because they’re comfortable. I’ll be honest  though, inflatables are not always the safest option. They are legal to wear though(as long as it’s on you) and I feel comfortable wearing them on the waters I fish, so that’s why you see me in inflatables. Foam PFDs like the Kokatat Sean is wearing in the video are safer than inflatables as they are always at the ready. If I were fishing moving water, or somewhere I might be thrown from the kayak, I would want to be in a foam PFD.
